I'm ALIVE!!

Yes I know…. I kinda fell off the face of blogger world. During my M.I.A. status in blogger world I was out in the Real world just doing what I do best playing the Game of Life. I have so much to say but I don’t want to bore you all at one time…So I will be telling it all one dose at a time!
So as I pondered on what to write about today I thought about what the most important thing to me at the moment was…. And the winner is Weight Loss!!! Since getting married I had gained about 20 pounds….I am not blaming it all on getting married because I ate a lot of chicken curry and rice on my own before my Latino hubby introduced  me to a whole new world of food filled with arroz y abechuela y carne! So I faced the facts that yes I let eating yummy food get the best of me.So I decided it was time to execute a plan!! So what did I do?
I did juicing!!! Of course with the help of my hubby it was a lot easier than having to do it on my own. So for 12 days I juiced for breakfast, lunch and dinner the results was I lost about 10 pounds and I felt better than ever!!! I was inspired by the documentary “FAT Sick and Nearly Dead” and let me just tell you I did that over 3 months ago and I haven’t seen those number on the scale go up at all! This was all I needed to motivate myself to loose more weight!!
My next move is teaching myself how to run! I know that sounds ridicules since you learn to run when you’re a toddler, but its hard running for fitness, especially with the two twins that God has blessed ME with...If you know what I mean!! But I will do it! I will continue to try to run a little further every day until I can run around my entire block without stopping and walking!! By running and eating a low calorie diet is how I plan on loosing the next 10 pounds!! I will keep you updated on how its going…. So here is my dose for the day. Now Marinate on that! I’m just playing I just always wanted to say that… lol .Please share any ideas that you might have on weight loss or any words of encouragement because I need it all!!!

What are you thinking?

Did you know that what you think has a big impact in your life?  Did you know what comes out of our mouths have an even bigger impact in our lives. In most cases your actions reflect your thoughts....So if you keep thinking that your never going to get any where in life and your going to stay in debt and live pay check to pay check then that is the direction your life will probably continue to go in. But if you think positive, good actions will then follow. The reason why I'm blogging about this is because I struggle with this my self. It's hard to always think and say things that are positive especially in the world we live in today where there is so much chaos, our minds can become cluttered by our bills, relationships, work etc. Then we start saying what we are thinking. We have to remember daily to empty the garbage in our minds and fill it with things that will help us better our lives. In Philippians 4:8 it says "Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise" When you find yourselves drowning in your thoughts ,think on things that are lovely and things that are excellent. So as Zig Ziglar says lets stop "Stinking Thinking"  think and say things that are positive, things that will help better your lives and other people lives around you, I believe that this one step will help us all improve and find true happiness in our lives. This goes with that rule we all know "if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say it at all” but the trick is to not even think it in the first place!!!

A Gift From God

Marriage is truly a gift from God. I am happy to say that my husband and I just celebrated our 2nd Anniversary! Whew! Was it hard! There were times when I asked God... "Is there a return policy with this gift" LOL. No one said it was always going to be easy.
I am thankful to have someone to walk with through this crazy game of life. I have someone to laugh with and someone to wake up to. It's overall an amazing feeling!
Many people today have a misconception of what marriage is. Marriage does not mean your tied down, it just means you have someone help you up when your down, it does not mean your life is over, it means your life has just begun. God intended for us to not be alone.  "And the Lord God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him'" (Gen. 2:18). So for those of you that are married thank God for sending you that special person and continue to pray for your marriage. For those of you that may have troubles in your marriage hold on because what God puts together nothing or no one will tear apart. For those that are still waiting and dating God is molding and shaping the man or women for you so thank God in advanced for who he is sending your way and enjoy your youth!
Some of the things we will cherish from this year of marriage includes numerous mini vacations to Orlando, David fracturing his ankle( just a memory), our trip to Vegas, and the biggest event of all giving our life completely to God (no turning back)! We have already started making new memories for this New Year which includes our stay at Treasure Island Davids 27th Birthday and most recently, today, we both got baptized in water!  Here are some pics from this year and our stay in Treasure Island.

God's changing things!

So this weekend was one of those life changing weekends. I'm not sure exactly who is going to read this blog but to those of you that dont know God as your personal savior proably think I'm talking crazy talk. Which is okay because if I never had an experience with God before I would think the same thins.
So let me elaborate. I was brought up in a godly household, which means I had guidelines, rules, curfews and attended church every sunday! So I did what teens do best, I rebelled! I moved out my house and well I "had fun" wordly fun! Even though I strayed away from God, and everything that my parents had taught me, I still couldnt run from God! I got married a year after leaving my house and still struggled as I still didnt make any effort to get right with God. By getting right with God I mean surrendering my whole life to God, in better words I'm sitting in the passenger seat and god is driving my car!
My 2nd year anniversary is right around the corner and God couldnt show up at a better time. You see being a Christian or having a relationship doesnt mean your holy, or you have to attend church every sunday. Its a life changing experience. This feeling can not compare to any drink or drug! Do you ever feel like you always have a void in your life? You can have  everything a perfect husband, beautiful kids a dog a cat, you make good money but still you know there is so much more. Instead of doing everything on your time or your way, God will lead you. C'mon you cant go wrong if you allow the one that made you ,to lead your way! I dont know what God has instored for my life but I know it's going to be great. For those of who are weirded out by my post please try  the following just think you have nothing to loose! God Loves you so much that he gave his son for all of our sins. Those that have kids can you imagine giving your son up for people that are liers, cheater, stealers? Well that is just an example of how much God loves you! It's real. so try it today. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask.You have nothing to loose!
Admit that you are a sinner
*We all sin daily! Everyone has lied and if you are saying that you are not a sinner well you just sinned cause your lieing. lol
Belive In Jesus
* "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (See John 14:6.)
Confess that Jesus is your Lord
*"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (See verse 10.)

My weekend

Published with Blogger-droid v1.7.1
First off I am so proud to say that im a college graduate! Even though I already started school again before graduation last Friday night I am glad I did that I am done with one degree. I finally have my AS in medical assisting. the graduation was a blast everything was going perfect until 20min before leaving the house for graduation, the zipper of my classy white dress broke.....my sister had to think fast and had to safety pin the entire back of my dress the only worry was that the safety pins would come un pinned and stab me in my back like an ex best friend would lol! Anyways...Saturday was also a very eventful day. In the morning I watched my husband get down and dirty while changing his break pads and then we headed to my Grandmothers 75th birthday! It was definitely the event of the year it was better than the Royal Wedding and indeed my grandmother looked like a queen and got the "all eyes on her “attention that she deserved! It felt amazing to sit back and soak in all the love and happiness that blanketed my grandmother’s home that day. It was a day the im sure the whole family will treasure forever! On Sunday my husband worked really hard on finishing the patio/gazebo project for me...the end result was exactly how I imagined, a place to unwind and enjoy the serenity of the outdoors. Since I am not at home I am unable to post my pics so as soon as I get home ill be posting! Hope everyone has a great week! peace n love to all. Oh yea I got a new hair style/color which I am in love with! I’ll post pics.

June is here!!!

June is here! There are so many things going on its unbelievable. A few things on my agenda include Father’s Day, my 7th year Anniversary at my job, my Graduation(Associate in science in medical assisting), and my Grandmothers 75th birthday. I will post pictures of each event to keep you updated. I am super excited for my Grandmothers birthday she will be turning 75 years old it will be the first big gathering that we have had in years at her house. You see my family is not an ordinary family. It consist of my grandmothers eight daughters and one son(RIP) who all got married, which in result produced my 28 cousins and 21 great grandkids, and the family is still growing! Having a big family has its pros and it cons, for instance I enjoyed growing up with all my cousins and building life lasting memories with them. The cons can include the obsessive juicy gossiping that takes place on a day to day basis which can lead to hurt feelings and that thing that my family is full of, DRAMA! Overall family are the people you can’t live without and the people who will be there no matter what! Can’t wait to see everyone! Lets enjoy June, everyone do something different this summer…Go for a boat drive, read a book at the beach…Enjoy the sun!!!
Hope everyone has a great Thursday!!!!!

My First Anniversary Present

It all started last August. I was sitting in my office at work when I saw my husband walking down the hall with something in his hand."Happy Anniversary Babe" my hubby said to me. "Is that for me" I squeeled! In his hand was the cutest little pupppy that I had ever seen. He was so tiny; he shook as my husband handed him to me. He stayed with me all day at work,we decided to name him Roscko. As soon as I got out of work I immeditly speed to the nearest pet store and bought him a leash, cage, and a spiky collar (I wanted him to look bad to the bone) lol. Later that night we decided to change his name to Rocko the name seemed to pair better with his face. My husband I were blinded by his adorable little figure that we allowed him to sleep with us that night instead of his cage.He is digusted at the site of the cage!Little did we know, when reading about his breed (Min Pin) on the web I discovered that they were known as the "King" of the toy breeds which mean he is a stubburn, overly energetic, pup!
Here we are 11 months later and that little rat is still sleeping with us in our bed! He is a complete bed hogger and is very grouchy when I trying moving him away from me. He snores and he has doggy night mares! What can I say he is just like his mommy! Through these 11 months Rocko has destroyed our carpet, laundry room, shredded a cage full of towels, and has mauled at the door in our guest bathroom! He turned out to be a handful and a half, but we still love him. We spoil him to pieces everyday he drives in the car with us to Tampa, and we drop him off at daycare (my mother in laws house) while we are working then we pick him up before we go home. For the most part Rocko is now "potty trained"(Thank God)". He also performs tricks such as Sit, Lay down, stay, and he can also give you his paw. Today is Rockos first birthday which means hes seven in dog years. My baby is growing too fast!Happy Birthday Rocko! You are truly the best anniversary present yet! Check out the fab cupcake squeeky toy I got rocko for his bday!
